My name is Alissa Serebriakova, and I am an artist representative
specializing in artists of former Soviet republics. Most of the artists
represented continue to reside in foreign nations - Russia, Finland
and others. But I also represent artists trained in Russia and now
living within the USA. This is the career that I chose, following my
immigration to the USA. And I have become more than a
representative for my artists - I care for their success as I care for
my closest friends. I should be considered a liaison/translator to
great Russian-trained artists recognized by museums and
emerging artists.
I have carefully built relationships with more than 10 distinguished
artists; I have negotiated contracts with publishing companies and
galleries; and I have established relationships with great art
organizations such as the St. Petersburg Union of Artists. The
artists represented include: artists trained in great institutes such
as the Repin Art Institute; artists receiving gold medals from the
Russian Ministry of Culture; artists named as the top emerging
artist for their region. I have constructed portfolios detailing the
artists' resume and biography, and providing images of the artists'
work.
I have established a network of contacts within Russia, to correctly
register and ship works with proper documents. My relationship
with the St. Petersburg Union of Artist also provides the capability
to broker the sale of works created by known/deceased Russian
masters.
I have selected a group of artists offering classic impressionism,
abstract, figurative and abstract works. I am also interested in
reviewing works of Russian-trained artists looking for professional
consideration and representation.
